Where is the title for my vehicle?

When your vehicle is financed:
  • Your Georgia title is mailed to the first lien or security interest holder shown on your title application.
When no lien or security interest is shown:
  • Your Georgia title is released or mailed to you, the vehicle owner(s), or
  • Upon request and the submission of a power of attorney from you, the vehicle owner(s), at the time of application, the title is mailed to your appointed attorney-in-fact.
When your vehicle is leased:
  • Your Georgia title is mailed to your leasing company when no lien or security interest holder is recorded on your title application.
