You may apply for this tag at your county tag office during your registration period with the required fees & taxes. This tag may be issued showing joint ownership; it can be transferred between vehicles owned by the registrant at his/her county tag office; & the ownership can be relinquished. ‘Share the Road’ shall appear at the bottom of this tag in lieu of a county name decal.

Of the $25.00 fees collected for the issuance & renewal of these tags, the fees shall be distributed as follows: $1 to the County Tag Agent; $2 to the Dept. of Revenue (design & manufacture costs) & $22 to the Governor’s Highway Safety Program administered by the Office of Highway Safety of the Dept. of Public Safety. Initial Cost: $45 plus ad valorem tax. Renewal Cost: $45 plus ad valorem tax.
