Directions to the State Motor Vehicle DivisionWhen Traveling South on Interstate 751. Take Exit #239, Henry Ford II. 2. Turn right at the top of the exit ramp at the light. 3. After crossing over the bridge and going through the next light, turn right at the next street, Tradeport Boulevard, into the Tradeport complex. 4. The Motor Vehicles Division is located in Building 1200 which is the fifth building on the left. 5. Please park in the front of the building in spaces designated for you, our customers. Please read important information regarding parking under the heading "Free Parking". 6. Enter the building through the double doors located in the front of the building. Free Parking Free parking is available for passenger cars, motorcycles, and light weight vans and pick-up trucks in front of the building. Please park in spaces designated for you, our customers. Please do not park in reserved parking spaces, on the street or in spaces provided for other companies or buildings' occupants (the area in front of their building). Office Hours Motor Vehicle Division' In-person Customer Service Operations is available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday excluding state holidays. Additional Information - MVD's In-Person Customer Service OperationsTo receive in-person service, you must present your valid Georgia driver's license or valid Georgia identification card. Anyone applying for a title or requesting service on behalf of another person must submit, at the time of service, an original properly completed, signed and signature notarized power of attorney, Form T-8 , naming him/her as the person's attorney-in-fact. A notary public must sign, affix his/her notary seal or stamp and record the date his/her notary commission expires to this form. The attorney-in-fact's full legal name is required on the power of attorney form. A natural person's full legal name is his/her complete name as it appears on his/her valid Georgia driver's license or Georgia identification card. The attorney-in-fact must show his/her valid Georgia driver's license or Georgia identification card. Titles can be processed while you wait at this department's Customer Service Operations of the Motor Vehicle Division upon the payment of an additional $10.00 special handling fee for each title application. Titles processed in-person will not be mailed. Click here to view the fees for obtaining a title. Important: Most titles applications processed through the local county tax commissioners' offices in this state result in the printing and mailing of the titles by this department's Motor Vehicle Division within three-business days (3) of the county's entry and approval at no additional charge.
