Odometer Disclosure Records Retention
As a licensed dealer, you are required to maintain a record of every vehicle bought,
sold or exchanged by you or received by you for sale or exchange for three (3) years.
Records containing an odometer declaration must be retained for five (5) years.
The above records must be open for inspection by inspectors from the Secretary of
State, State Board of Registration of Used Motor Vehicle Dealers, or representatives
of the Department of Motor Vehicle Division.
