Electronic Liens on Title
|

|
The Motor Vehicle Division of the Georgia Department of Revenue has implemented an Electronic Liens on Title (ELT) program, which provides paperless vehicle titles to participating financial institutions. The ELT program exchanges lien information between the Department and the financial institution facilitated by one of the service providers.
The service provider’s role is to transmit electronic lien notification to the financial institution and the Department through a software application.
